Q: I see a lot about CBD (cannabidiol) and how it’s meant to help anxiety. Have you tried it and what did you think?

A: CBD hasn’t worked for me personally (but I know people for whom it has). I think the problem is that the research into its effectiveness is still in fairly early stages compared to other products and it’s quite an unregulated area, so the products can differ wildly. If you are interested in trying it, my advice would be to choose products that have clear evidence-based claims behind them.
