Chapter Eighteen: Laek
Whatâs harder than an office desk?
I couldnât fight it anymore.
I lunged forward and claimed Auroraâs lips with mine. They were as soft and sweet as the treats she created. One taste and I was addicted.
Sheâd gasped and stiffened, but I nibbled on her lower lip playfully and she melted like putty in my hands.
Iâd pulled the cork on her restraint. Her previous tension quickly shifted into a fervent passion as she parted her lips for me, and our tongues tangled.
Her hands explored my body as we kissed, sliding up my stomach to rest on my chest. A deep satisfaction rolled over me as she released a small, possessive growl while she explored my muscles.
I would let her explore every inch of me anytime she wanted.
I used my last properly functioning brain cell to move us to her office, not wanting to ruin her creation and desperate to make sure we kept doing what we were doing.
Walking her backwards, I guided her to her desk. We hit it awkwardly, and I chuckled into her mouth while she giggled into mine.
She was so tiny compared to me. I reached down and lifted her onto her desk with one arm. It brought her to the perfect height.
She pulled me closer, as if the thought of even an inch of space between us was too much. I obliged, making sure she felt how much I agreed with her.
âLaek,â she panted, tugging my lip with her teeth as she pulled back a fraction. âI want you.â
In a perfect world, I wouldâve clarified what that meant. But our world wasnât perfect, and neither was I.
With a slight shift and a couple flicks of my wrist, her clothes were shredded and hanging to her sides. A groan escaped me as I took in her body. She was the only perfection that existed, and I couldnât wait to sink myself into and then drown in that perfection.
She bit her lip and nodded, as if reading my thoughts.
Who was I to deny my lady?
âLaek,â she said, her voice less gritty. âAre you okay?â
I frowned at her, thinking that was an odd question. Of course I was okay. I was better than okay.
âLaek, please answer me.â
I blinked, and we were back in the kitchen in front of her mating anniversary display.
My fingers still gripped her chin, and it wasnât passion staring back at me from her eyes. It was concern.
I cleared my throat and slid my fingers from her chin, taking a tiny step back that felt like Iâd moved all the way across the room. She kept her hold on my hand, though, and I was too stunned to pull away. I also didnât want to move too far away, or sheâd be able to see other parts of me that were taking their time to calm down.
What the faek was that?
I was acting like a randy youth. I needed to get my thoughts and body under control.
âSorry,â I breathed, releasing a long breath from my mouth. âI donât know what came over me.
