Serena

I wake up the morning after in Diego’s arms. It’s cute how he’s snoring, but… I can’t stay here. As quiet as can be, one inch at a time, I move, so as not to jostle him. Almost there, his arm is across my forehead, another inch and I’ll be out from under him and free.

“Where do you think you’re going, boss lady?” He pulls me back up to him and growls in my ear. A hand at my breast palms then he pinches it, and I arch my back into the sensation. Although, when he moves to top me, I know I’ll soon be under his command once more, and I truly don’t have time for that this morning.

I shimmy out of his grasp and laugh as I protest. “Come on, Diego, you know I have to get to work. This has been nice, but⁠—”

“Nice? Jeez, you don’t like to bolster me up one bit, do you? After admitting how good I make you feel, aren’t things different now?”

I shimmy out of his embrace and reach for my clothes. “Different how?” I know the answer, but I skirt around it.

“We’re stuck together. We have a lot of planning to do to make your affair go off without a hitch, so… I expect to see a hell of a lot more of you. My bed is open to you anytime.” He shifts the pillows behind him to prop himself up to a sitting position.

I pause and take in his messy hair and morning look. His cocky smile is bright and toothy, and there’s a bulge growing under the covers. Damn, this young stud gets hard so easily for me. And I want to rush off to work? What’s wrong with me?

“Do you think just because I’ll be visiting regularly to discuss the details, we’re going to end up in bed together?” I challenge his notion.

“It’s a guarantee. Look, we’re both busy people, we have little time for relationships, and we’re obviously attracted to each other, so I don’t see the problem with enjoying some benefits along with our business dealings.”

While he makes sense, I shake my head at his persistence. From my purse, I retrieve a brush and a toothbrush, and his eyebrows raise at the sight.

“What? So, even though I didn’t know I’d end up in bed with you last night, I added these to my purse after last time. That way, I’m always prepared in case you get me drunk again and I need a place to sleep it off.”

He’s laughing at that, while I step into his bathroom and refresh my hair and breath. I hear him get up, but a furry thing runs across my feet and has me screaming bloody murder. He bursts in.

“Whoa, calm down. That’s just Rosie, remember?” He grabs the furball up in his arms and pets its fluffy body. My own pussy gets a little jealous at the sight of his attentiveness to the little thing, and wants to be petted again, too.
