Prayer

I ask and pray that the hearts of humans be open to all horses. Please help us to honour and care for them. Show us the way to live in harmony, love, peace and mutual respect with horses everywhere. Enable us to acknowledge their worth and their mighty spirits. May there be joy and understanding between the human and horse kingdoms.

EXERCISE: Visualization to Honour Horses

Take time and space to relax and be still.

Close your eyes and breathe comfortably.

Picture yourself out in the countryside in a place where you feel totally safe.

A beautiful horse is coming up to you. It is peaceful and harmless.

Notice its colouring.

Connect telepathically with this animal. Greet it and tell it you wish it well.

Stroke its nose and pat it lovingly if this feels appropriate.

Rub its third eye.

Listen to anything the horse wants to tell you. Visualize any action that needs to be taken.

Ask if you may ride on its back. In your inner world you can mount it easily. You can also ride bareback, without bridle by holding its mane. You are totally safe.

As you are walking, trotting or even galloping with your horse, feel the two of you bonding. Feel its needs and explain yours. Let your heart open. You are learning to act as one.

You are heading for a farm where horses have been cruelly treated.

Together you are crossing a river, a flat plain and then climbing a hill.

When you arrive, work together, safely, constructively and wisely to set them free and help the owner to open his heart.

When you have finished, you and your horse are returning back to where you started. Get off and thank your horse. Open your eyes.

Know that your inner work has helped all horses everywhere.
