7 Prepare your pillow back: Turn 1 long edge on each 19" × 12" (48.3cm × 30.5cm) piece under 1⁄2" (1.3cm) toward the wrong side and press. Turn the folded edges under another 1⁄2" (1.3cm) and press again. Stitch the edges using a 1⁄2" (1.3cm) seam allowance (Figure 5).

8 Set up the zipper foot on your sewing machine and baste the pom-pom trim in place around the perimeter of the pillow front. The pom-poms should face the center of your pillow (Figure 6).

9 Layer the pillow backs on top of the pillow front, right sides together. Align the raw edges; the folded edges on the back pieces will overlap. Pin the pieces in place and stitch around the perimeter of the entire pillow with a 1⁄4" (6mm) seam allowance (Figure 7).
