Step 10: Delete Outdated Messages, Parameters, and Temporary DTP Data
The entries of Table RSBATCHDATA, which contains SAP BW runtime data, can be deleted using the RSBATCH_DEL_MSG_PARM_DTPTEMP report. Call this report directly via SE38, and enter the following parameters:
DEL_MSG = 3
DEL_PAR = 3
DEL_DTP = x
The first two parameters define the number of days after which messages (DEL_MSG) or parameters (DEL_PAR) can be deleted (three days, respectively, in this case). Unfortunately, the exact functioning of the last parameter (DEL_DTP) is not documented sufficiently and must be set to delete table entries successfully. For more information, refer to SAP Notes 1338943 and 1511501.
