4 Create one square knot by connecting the innermost four working strands from the two square knots made in step 3.

5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 so that you have a total of three upside-down triangle patterns.

Knotty Tip

This will appear as an upside-down triangle pattern made up of three rows of 3-2-1 square knots.

6 Flip the bag over so that the lark’s-head knots are showing at the top of the design.

7 Use the far-left working strand to create diagonal double half hitch knots to border the left side of the upside-down triangle pattern.
