“Well, Calan, my darling,” smiled Angela, as she searched through the closet for just the right outfit, “how do you want to handle this? Shall we charm the pants off him?”

“My thoughts exactly,” agreed Calan, as she took a look at her own wardrobe options.

“And if that doesn’t work?” asked Angela, selecting a hunter green sweater and a MacLeod tartan skirt.

“I’ll put the sleeper on him if I have to.”

“That’ll do it,” grinned Angela. She noticed that Calan had chosen a form fitting burgundy sweater and a MacLeod tartan skirt like hers. “So, the MacLeods arm for war, do they?”

“Aye, lassie,” grinned Calan, as she adjusted her sweater, “that they do. What do you think?”

“I think the man’s toast,” replied Angela as she checked herself in the mirror. “Tall boots, do you think?”

“For you yes,” replied Calan. “Slightly shorter for me, I want us to be the same height, but I want us to be as tall as possible.”

“So we are going out for blood?” commented Angela, as she applied her lipstick.

“Absolutely, my love. By the time Mr. Robert Campbell meets his new daughter-in-law I want him so bedazzled that he’ll be lucky to remember his own name.”

“Then we take the Cadillac.”

“Indeed so,” replied Calan, giving Angela her most winning smile.

“My lord, sweetheart, smile at him like that and he’ll be lost forever.”

“Thank you, my love, I’d kiss you right now…”

“But it would smear our lipstick, and we have no time to waste,” laughed Angela. “I want a rain check for that kiss.”
